Yarn Tourism is booming. Thousands of knitters a year are jumping on planes, tour buses, and cruise ships to visit yarn stores, farms and festivals all over the world. They want to squish, learn, explore and spend on anything wool/ sheep related… oh and there’ll lots of eating and drinking the local delicacies along the way!
Seeing this emerging trend, I published the Yarn Store Passport in October 2023…. and it’s finally made its way into the hands of two Knitfluencers: the Grocery Girls. They are Canadian YouTubers who have a huge following in the knitting world. Not only have they interviewed some big names on their show- they ARE big names!
Fiona of The Yarn Bowl is on a knitting cruise with them – they are traveling along the Danube and popping into yarn stores along the way including Stephen and Penelope, Garn Studio and more!
