Work with Pru
Pru Raymond is a Knitrepreneur / Knitfluencer, Australian knitting designer, teacher and writer who is focused on growth across the Australian wool-craft ecosystem. She collaborates with yarn stores, indie dyers, mills and publishers to share skills, stories, and success. The four main ways you can work with Pru are inviting Pru to teach at your yarn store; seeking to collaborate on a pattern, book, or kit; asking Pru to champion your brand through her highly engaged social media and mail list; commissioning Pru to write an article for your publication/ an industry publication on your behalf. Pru is also open to speaking opportunities and running workshops focused on developing the capacity of other creatives and artists to develop their educational practice.
Invite Pru to Teach

Do you want to foster community engagement, encourage knitters to visit your yarn store or invite existing customers to re-engage with your business in a new way? Invite Pru to teach contemporary, engaging knitting workshops! New and regular customers are drawn to workshops to learn new skills. With increased skills and confidence, they are likely to buy more patterns, tools, and yarn from your store. Check out the flyer then contact Pru to plan a “stackable retreat” at your yarn store in 2024.
Commission an Article or Blog

Pru writes for knitting magazines. Her most prestigious contribution was a 1500 word feature, accompanied by photos (Jacie Davis) for Laine Magazine, Issue 17. If you have a story you want to share within the knitting community, a publication or a blog to which you would like Pru to contribute- please reach out!
Collaborate on a Pattern/ Book/ Kit

There are lots of ways Pru can work with indie dyers, mills and yarn companies. It could involve commissioning a garment design for a specific yarn/ book/ collection or putting together kits based on existing Dear Pru designs. For example, Pru collaborated with Australian indie dyer Fluff and Nonsense to turn Open Hearted Mitts into a kit which is sold at markets and the National Wool Museum.
