Knitted fabric is created by an interlocking thread that appears to be many threads but is actually one…
I’m teaching a series of knitting workshops with a sustainability focus at 19 on Green Community Centre in Brompton throughout July. The first workshop was yesterday: Organic cotton reusable make up wipes.
I designed this workshop series to align with two of Charles Sturt Council’s strategic pillars: environmental sustainability and connecting community.
Each of the four products support sustainable habits in the home. However, the outcome of each workshop isn’t just a product: it’s the skills and the connections developed among participants. The conversation we share when we hold space for each other in our learning circle.
I’m really looking forward to next week: Linen Blend Loofahs!
