Leiden is a versatile stranded colourwork sock pattern in two sizes. Tulips adorn the heel and toe, reinforcing the area of most wear. The leg and foot feature a simple stripe pattern punctuated with a slipped stitch which creates a jogless join as well as adding interest. Instructions are provided for working the socks toe up or cuff down.

Yarn	Sian’s Yarns Sock Yarn (75% Superwash wool, 25% nylon; 390 m / 427 yds per per 100 g / 3.52 oz) in three colours: Yarn 1: Snow (approx 100 g) Yarn 2: Watermelon Skin (approx. 20 g) Yarn 3: Terry’s Orange (approx. 50 g) Alternative yarns should be of a similar fibre content and length per 100 g / 3.52 oz. Conservatively, you will need 100 g/ 3.52g white (Yarn 1), 20 g / 0.7 oz green (Yarn 2) and 50 g / 1.76 oz. orange.
