The Open Hearted Vest is a cropped vest featuring a bold, stranded colourwork motif in three colours of 8ply/ DK yarn. The vest is worked in the round from the bottom up and grafted at the shoulders using Kitchener Stitch. Neck and arm holes are cut or “steeked” before neat, ribbed neck and arm bands are picked up and knit along the raw edges to finish.

Super wash yarns will require crochet or sewn reinforcement prior to steeking. Note that yarn requirements are calculated based on finished measurements and a longer vest will require more yarn.
