YARN

When selecting alternative yarns, they should be of a similar gauge and yardage per 50 g and preferably, non super wash. Super wash yarns will require crochet or sewn reinforcement
prior to steeking.

Note that yarn requirements are calculated based on finished measurements and a longer vest will require more yarn.

4 mm / US 6 (or size to get gauge in colourwork) circular knitting needles in 2 lengths:

• 40 cm / 16” for the ribbed neckband and armhole bands
