Join us for Nature Festival at Prospect Library!
Immerse yourself in a delightful exploration of plant-based yarns. Guided by the yarn whisperer, Pru Raymond, you’ll embark on a journey through a diverse array of plant-based yarns, thoughtfully curated for vegans and individuals with allergies or those inclined towards trying something new.
Uncover the qualities in these natural yarns that stand apart from traditional wool. With a focus on experimenting, you’ll discover how these unique materials can be transformed into beautiful knitted pieces, enhancing your personal space or wardrobe. This workshop caters to all skill levels, whether you’re an experienced knitter or just embarking on your yarn journey.
Materials and equipment will be readily available for you to use during the workshop and take home!
Please note that this workshop is 12+. We welcome everyone from all skills and background to come and learn with us.
