Knitting has such rich colourwork traditions. Fair Isle from Shetland, Cowican from Canada, and Lopapeysa from Iceland. This workshop will focus on Roosimine, a colourwork technique from Estonia that has an embroidered appearance. It is also known as Estonian Inlay as the floats are woven into the knitted work.
MATERIALS AND HOMEWORK : You will be emailed closer to the date with all requirements and yarn suggestions and kit options.
The class will run from 1pm to 5pm in a fully equipped training room adjacent to the store. Please meet in the store 10 minutes before the workshop to be escorted to the venue. Please let us know if you have any issues using a small flight of stairs so we can use the most appropriate entrance to the venue.
Their will be no entry to the class after the first 10 minutes
