Learn to embroider your knits with Pru Raymond! With a few simple embroidery stitches up your sleeve, you can enhance and repair your hand knits, giving them new life or extra sparkle. It is also a creative way to use up left over yarns and customise your knits.
Homework:
Please bring a swatch to class, at least 20cm x 20cm, knit in 8ply/DK yarn OR a clean knitted garment/ accessory on which you are happy to experiment.
Materials Required
Each student will need:
• Approx 30-40g ball ends/ oddments of yarn in a range of colours/ply/fibres
Yarn Trader will be open 15 minutes before class commences to purchase materials and wind yarn into a cake as required. Instruction booklets will be provided. Pens, scissors and gauge rulers/ measuring tapes will be available to borrow.
The class will run from 10am to 1pm
Their will be no entry to the class after the first 10 minutes
Tea and Coffee will be provided .
All class attendees with receive a 10% discount on all in-store purchases* on the day. This is also extended to any class materials purchased in advance.
